UK Fintechs Building “Covid Credit”

The idea originated from 11:FS co-founder Simon Taylor on how the government could help the self-employed; the idea is that open banking could help prove lost income, one of the challenges for the government to provide assistance; UK fintechs including Fronted and Credit Kudos responded along with dozens of other volunteers in the fintech community; together they are working on a prototype of what is being called “Covid Credit”; TechCrunch digs into the prototype and how the fintech community is coming together.
