This is a very busy fall for p2p lending conferences. And starting next week with the Apex Lending Exchange Lend Academy will be speaking at several conferences in the coming month. Here is a brief description of these conferences and the sessions where we will be presenting.
Apex Lending Exchange: Sep 16-17 (New York City)
Next week, I will be speaking at this conference on a panel with Ron Suber, President of Prosper, and Neil Wolfson, President of SF Capital Group (owners of BorrowersFirst) that will be moderated by Brian Korn, Co-Head of the Crowdfunding and Peer to Peer Lending Group at Pepper Hamilton LLP.
What is unique about the Apex Lending Exchange is the Pod sessions they do. These are small round table discussions that will be taking place throughout the two days of this conference. Next Bank Europe: Sep 18-19 (Barcelona)
My other partner, Jason Jones, will be speaking at Next Bank Europe in Barcelona next week. ABS East P2P Lending Symposium: Sep 23 (Miami)
ABS East is one of the major conferences in the securitization industry and this year they are having an entire day of their conference dedicated to p2p lending. I will actually be kicking this day off with a P2P Lending 101 presentation. You can register here for the P2P Lending Symposium.
P2P Lending+Investing: Oct 6-7 (New York City)
I am disappointed that I have to miss this conference (it is my daughter’s birthday) because there is an excellent lineup of speakers coming. But Lend Academy will be represented once again by Jason Jones who will be moderating a highly anticipated panel titled The Next Wave of Innovation featuring: Renaud Laplanche, CEO and Founder, Lending Club, Ron Suber, President of Prosper, Jilliene Helman, CEO and Founder, Realty Mogul, Caribou Honig, Founding Partner, QED Investors and Brian S.
