Regulatory engagement is essential for fintech companies and innovative banks as the industry continues to struggle with regulatory uncertainty both in Washington, D.C. and states across the country. It is critically important, now more than ever, to gather industry leaders, academics, consumer groups, and policymakers to further the dialogue and discuss the most pressing regulatory issues in an effort to reach a consensus that balances innovation with consumer protection.
The seventh annual Policy Summit from the American Fintech Council (AFC) will take place in the heart of Washington, D.C. at The Westin City Center on November 14, 2023. The AFC was formed in March 2021 via the merger of the Marketplace Lending Association (MLA) and the Online Lending Policy Institute (OLPI). The AFC is now one of the leading and most active fintech associations focused on the many verticals that make up today’s diverse fintech ecosystem.
Fintech Nexus is the exclusive event and logistics partner of the AFC and we are proud to be working with them to help produce the Fall’s leading fintech policy and regulatory event in Washington, D.C..
“The team at Fintech Nexus are unique in their ability to coordinate and manage every aspect of our summit and also the foremost experts on fintech programming,thought-leadership and industry trends,” said Phil Goldfeder, CEO of the AFC. “Thanks to Peter Renton and his team, this year’s event is going to be the biggest and best we have ever had.”
