Fintech Nexus USA is coming in fast, and with it, the 6th annual Fintech Nexus Industry Awards.
For the first time since 2019, the award ceremony will be held at the end of the USA event, taking place on May 11, 2023, within the conference.
The ceremony celebrates fintech, bringing together outstanding individuals and organizations in the industry.
“We are excited to host the Fintech Nexus Industry Awards for the sixth year in a row,” said Peter Renton, Co-founder & Chairman of Fintech Nexus. “The fintech space continues to evolve and grow, and it’s an honor to recognize the individuals and organizations driving the industry forward.”
While the awards ceremony has always been celebrated, this year promises to be exceptional. Aside from returning to Fintech Nexus’s leading event in New York, the lineup of finalists has been the most star-studded yet.
With over 500 applicants, nominees will be judged into 10 categories:

- Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Trailblazer
- Fintech Innovator of the Year
- Emerging Fintech Innovator
- Innovation in Lending
- Innovation in Payments
- Innovation in Digital Banking
- Excellence in Financial Inclusion
- Top Service Provider
- Best of the Blockchain in Financial Services
The judging panel comprises over 20 influential leaders within the fintech sector.
The crowning “Executive of the Year” award is given to a senior executive that has shown outstanding leadership within their company and contributed to the advancement of the industry. The finalists for the category were announced on March 9, 2023, and include:
- Luvleen Sidhu, BMTX
- Zach Perret, Plaid
- Chris Britt, Chime
- Raina Succar, Intuit
- Jennifer Tescher, Financial Health Network
Past winners have included Scott Sanborn of Lending Club, David Kimball of Prosper, Anthony Hsieh of LoanDepot and Colin Walsh of Varo.
