Citigroup reported that the number of customers using its mobile app rose 25% to 10 million from the first quarter of 2017 to the first quarter of 2018, adding that mobile growth outpaced overall digital growth during the period. The message in the earnings numbers released today from Citigroup is that mobile is the future of banking technology and user experience.
