Financial wellness programs are slowly becoming the norm in corporate America; a recent survey showed that at companies with more than 500 employees around half have some kind of financial wellness program and 20% were implementing such programs and a further 29% said they were interested in launching a program; some of the solutions being offered include payroll advance apps such as PayActiv and Earnin, emergency savings accounts and auto-enrollment in financial wellness programs; while we are still in the early days for most, if not all, of these programs there is a clear recognition that corporate America has a role to play, beyond providing a paycheck, in the financial wellness of their workers.
