Instarem is a fintech startup based in Singapore and today announced their $41 million Series C; the company helps banks and consumers send money across the globe; the round was led by Vertex Ventures and Atinum Investment; Ripple has partnered with Instarem with their xRapid offering and also participated in the round; the company is similar to TransferWise but focuses on banks as opposed to just consumers; currently they serve 50 countries and have offices in Singapore, Mumbai, Lithuania, London and Seattle; the funds will be used to expand to Latin America and increase their presence in Asia.
