Last week the Paris Fintech Forum took place and Bloomberg’s recap had one major takeaway from the conference: crypto fever has truly broken; the conference hosted 3,000 people and there was a noticeable difference from the buzzing blockchain sessions of last year; this year the focus was on banking basics, sessions about building branchless lenders, fintech funding and more; Bloomberg shares some of interesting sessions which included speakers Christine Lagarde, managing director of the International Monetary Fund, Kathryn Petralia from Kabbage, Gottfried Leibbrand, the CEO of Swift, and the CEO of Ripple, Brad Garlinghouse.
