Revolut teams up with Paxos to launch crypto service in the US, and it points to broader trends in the fintech space

European challenger bank Revolut announced today that it will enter the US market with crypto trading services through a partnership with New York-based Paxos Crypto Brokerage.  While Revolut will handle the front-end experience for clients, Paxos will serve as the backbone of its crypto trading offering as it handles all of the regulatory and technical complexity involved in crypto trading.  Revolut claims an “active crypto clientele” in Europe of more than 1 million customers.
