Revolut’s Traction in Ireland

Revolut now has 1 million Irish customers, or about 25% of the adult population according to AltFi;  Revolut has also launched Revolut Junior in the region which is an offering targeted a those aged 7-17; The Junior accounts are opened by a parent or guardian who already has a Revolut account; they are then able to monitor the account and track spending; once kids reach 18 they are eligible for the traditional Revolut account with the idea that they have learned about personal finance so they can make smart decisions going forward; Revolut has fared well so far during the current pandemic though they have offered employees a salary swap where they can trade a portion of their salary for shares in the company.
