By submitting a press release to the Fintech Nexus TechWire (the “Service”), you (“User” or “You”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If You do not agree, do not submit content to the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a press release, You confirm that You have the legal authority to do so and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions, as well as our Content Guidelines. Fintech Nexus reserves the right to update these Terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Content Submission & Ownership
- You retain ownership of the content You submit but grant Fintech Nexus a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to publish, distribute, and promote the press release.
- You confirm that You have the necessary rights to submit the content, including any images, logos, or trademarks included.
- By submitting a press release, You acknowledge that any contact information provided (e.g., media inquiries) may be publicly visible. Do not include sensitive personal data.
3. Editorial Review & Publication Rights
- Press release submissions are not automatically published. Fintech Nexus reserves the right to reject, edit, or remove any press release at its sole discretion, with or without explanation.
- Fintech Nexus is not obligated to provide feedback on rejections. Submissions may be declined for reasons beyond violations of these Terms, including low quality, redundancy, or lack of relevance to our audience.
- Publication does not constitute an endorsement or validation of the claims made within the press release. Readers should conduct their own due diligence before making financial or business decisions based on published content.
4. Prohibited Content
You agree not to submit content that:
- Contains false, misleading, or deceptive information, including unverified financial projections or non-compliant investment claims.
- Infringes on any third-party rights (copyrights, trademarks, etc.).
- Promotes illegal activity, hate speech, offensive material, or unsupported medical/financial claims.
- Includes spam, malware, or excessive promotional language.
Additionally:
- AI-generated content is permitted only if it has been reviewed and edited by a human. Fintech Nexus reserves the right to reject AI-generated content that lacks originality, accuracy, or professional quality.
- Press releases must comply with all relevant financial and advertising regulations, including but not limited to SEC, CFPB, and FTC guidelines.
5. Fees, Refunds & Revisions
- All fees are non-refundable, even if a press release is rejected or removed after publication.
- Fees cover publication and distribution only and do not guarantee placement in newsletters or editorial sections.
- Once published, press releases cannot be modified except for minor factual corrections (e.g., typos, incorrect dates). Correction requests must be submitted 24 hours prior to scheduled publication, and Fintech Nexus retains the right to approve or deny changes.
6. Liability & Indemnification
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content.
- You agree to indemnify and hold Fintech Nexus harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your submission, including legal fees.
7. Dispute Resolution
- If You disagree with a rejection or removal, You may submit a written appeal within 7 days. Fintech Nexus will review the appeal, but its final decision is binding.
- Rejected submissions are not eligible for refunds, even if appealed.
8. Changes to the Service
Fintech Nexus may modify, suspend, or discontinue the TechWire at any time without notice.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
TechWire Content Guidelines
To ensure quality and credibility, all press releases submitted to the Fintech Nexus TechWire must follow these guidelines.
1. General Requirements
- Content must be newsworthy, accurate, and relevant to the fintech industry.
- Press releases should be written in a professional, journalistic style (not a blog post, sales pitch, or opinion piece).
- The recommended length is 400–800 words.
2. Headline & Formatting
- The headline should be clear and factual, not clickbait or exaggerated marketing claims.
- Include a dateline (City, State, Date) at the start of the release.
- Use proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Poorly written submissions may be rejected.
3. Acceptable & Unacceptable Content
? Acceptable:
- Company announcements (e.g., product launches, partnerships, funding rounds).
- Regulatory updates or industry research findings.
- Executive appointments and key leadership changes.
? Unacceptable:
- Advertorials, promotional content, or excessive self-promotion.
- Unverified claims (e.g., “the best fintech solution on the market”).
- AI-generated content that has not been reviewed and edited by a human.
- Press releases that violate financial compliance rules (e.g., unverified investment opportunities, misleading financial projections).
4. Links & Multimedia
- A maximum of two links is recommended per press release (one in the body, one in the boilerplate) to maintain readability and credibility.
- If additional links are needed for source citations, regulatory references, or essential supporting information, they may be allowed on a case-by-case basis.
- Links must be relevant and must not lead to spam, gated content, or unrelated promotional material.
- Logos, images, and videos can be included but must be high-quality and legally owned.
5. Review Process
- Submissions are reviewed as quickly as possible, but processing times may vary.
- Fintech Nexus reserves the right to reject or edit press releases to meet editorial and compliance standards.
- If a press release is rejected, Fintech Nexus is not obligated to provide detailed feedback.
6. Compliance & Legal Requirements
- All submitted press releases are considered ready for public distribution at the scheduled time and upon approval.
- Do not include confidential, off-the-record, or unintended embargoed information in your submission.
- All content must comply with applicable financial, advertising, and consumer protection regulations.
- If your press release contains financial claims (e.g., investment opportunities, stock performance), ensure that all required disclosures are included.
