Trust of US banks has fallen according to recent research; 40 banks were evaluated as part of the 2019 American Banker/Reputation Institute Survey of Bank Reputations; only two banks, USAA and Huntington Bank received an excellent reputation score which is down from six banks last year; according to the research the overall decline of reputations means that customers are less willing to use a bank’s products or recommend them to others; the survey shows how banks can best improve in how they are perceived by both non-customers and current customers.
