Investors in TransferWise, the money transfer service include Richard Branson, Peter Thiel and Max Levchin; according to sources the company is now seeking to sell a stake in a $300 million investment round which would value the company around $4 billion; TransferWise currently has 4 million customers across the globe and transfers $4 billion per month; TransferWise last raised money in 2017 when it raised $280 million at a valuation of over $1.6 billion; the round is being organized by Goldman Sachs.
